We are growing and have a one-year fixed term position (with possibility of further extension) to support development of the Health and Life Sciences ecosystem in Northern Ireland. It is an exciting time to harness the strengths and capabilities of the Northern Ireland Health and Life Sciences sector, as investment was announced in Dec 2021 for the Northern Ireland City and growth deals.
This new HIRANI role is a rewarding opportunity to use your skills to build a vibrant cluster focused on medical technology and diagnostics across the NI Ecosystem. You will work alongside diverse stakeholders and leaders drawn from across academia/industry/health, to develop a cluster which promotes trust, knowledge exchange and influences innovation activities. Every day will be different, and the role will see you meet a diverse range of people to learn how to frame their challenges and support their future needs for collaboration, funding, and access to talent as the sector transforms over the next decade and beyond.

In 2020, HIRA-NI was awarded >£1m over three years by Invest-Northern Ireland to foster economic growth, help speed up the delivery of health innovations to the public, and to continue to grow the ecosystem and the region’s national and international standing. HIRANI is looking to appoint a Cluster Manager.
