HIRANI attended the launch event in Westminster for two new strategic reports from CPI, ABHI and Cambridge Design Partnership arising from feedback from GB and NI HealthTech SMEs who were successful in obtaining funding with the Innovate UK Health Technology Regulatory and Innovation Programme (HealthTrip) Programme.

Seven NI SMEs obtained an average of £28,000 each to help shape their regulatory route to market.

  2. A strategic technology roadmap for the UK IVD (in-vitro diagnostics) industry https://lnkd.in/ePVd7Yph

The reports lend important insight into barriers encountered for regulatory approval in the UK as well as a specialist report examining short, medium and long term opportunities for IVDs.

Talks from SMEs who had participated in the programme included an address from NI company Trimedika CEO, Dr Roisin M Molloy (pictured).

The ABHI is running an updated Regulatory Clinic on Medical Devices and IVDs at Invest NI Belfast on Friday 10th February from 9am-12pm, with a networking lunch from 12-1pm. Please email emma.mccarley@hira-ni.com for further details.
